Safran sustainable aviation fuel new engineering research and advance hand in hand in the application of helicopter engine

According to the memorandum of understanding, safran helicopter engine company and the new project will provide the specialized in engine manufacturing and MRO can force, promote and help the helicopter operators from traditional fossil fuel to SAF.Use SAF safran engine ground test will be in the engine test facilities and implementation of the new project at the same time, will be involved in the helicopter operators in flight test, to evaluate the use of SAF technology on its fleet of engine performance and economic benefits.

At present, all of the helicopter engine safran have been run under 50% of SAF certification.The goal of this cooperation is completed in the next few years the use of 100% SAF forensics, this could bring up to 80% of the carbon emissions.
